Hardworking ambitious IT security professional. I love computers and automobiles. In my current role as Technical Engagement Leader I am the primary manager for the overall definition, delivery and planning of technical installation work of MHS Genesis - The DoD's Electronic Health Record. As the Technical Engagement Leader I work to provide the design and guidance needed to implement technical solutions in a client/server environment specific to the Deparment of Defense or DoD. In this role I am the primary contact for a wide variety of issues related to their technical infrastructure. Additionally I work to be the expert judge of the clients risk factors for successful implementation and management of their systems. I ensure security posture and infrastructure meet the needs of today's rigorous standards. Through this work building effective relationships and communication strategies is key to successful implementation of products in the Military environment. In addition to project management work, and technical insight; I coordinate resources, scheduling, and other factors including but not limited to basic operational and financial metrics involved with the Department of Defense and other Federal projects. Further I maintain skills in Microsoft enterprise computing and Unix systems. Through my previous positions I have had the opportunity maintain and build Millennium EHR systems and various value added healthcare solutions solutions that Cerner Corporation provides clients.
