Working on the Microsoft D365 ERP program as the global operations and manufacturing engineering subject matter expect. Interface with the program team and operations super users to ensure the platform was suitable for the Rotork manufacturing environment through active change management, system understanding and testing and trialling of the process to prove acceptance levels. Working with technical consultants to prove the processes and tweak as needed to drive efficiency into new ways of working.Also acted as the global Manufacturing Engineering representative and created a long term functional strategy to build capabilities through Rotorks sites.

Responsible for the evolution of the industrial systems within the manufacturing footprint of the Broughton plant across both Single Aisle and Widebody products. Teams include industrial architecture, manufacturing technologies (assembly technologies, robotics and automation & systems) jigs & tooling and innovation covering all programs onsite. Team size of approx 110 staff (engineers, project managers, specialists and leaders).

Accountable for approx 150 engineers providing line side support & delivering safety, quality and cost improvements through improved efficiency as well as new technology deployment. Responsible for the integration of manufacturing engineering as a department and within the Broughton site for the newly formed Manufacturing Engineering organisation within Airbus at Broughton. Customer focused delivery within the operational teams, ensuring ME support and project delivery to commitments . Also responsible for delivery and industrialisation of major projects and technical modifications across all programmes.

Overall responsibility for Safety, quality, cost, delivery and people of the Long Range equipping business. Circa 150 operators plus support staff (Supply chain, quality, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, planning, HR) Managed the business successfully through a rate reduction whilst still delivering to schedule and reducing costs by year end in line with targets.

Manage all engineering aspects of Assembly Integration and Test of telecommunications and earth navigation and science satellites. Teams comprise of shop floor support engineers, build inspectors, process engineers, jig & fixture design engineers, satellite integration and mechanical test. Department reshaped following a major organisation change. Department size of approx 50 engineers. 8 direct reports made up of leaders and specialists.
