The role has some overlap to my previous responsibilities as Director of Virology but more of a focused emphasis on leading specific teams whom provide project management and technical support to projects as well as leading the challenge agent development team. The role is an operational management role assisting in the leadership of the overall division as well as direct management of specific teams. The role has a key operational, scientific and strategic leadership role within the wider Company outside of my direct divisional responsibilities. It is a multifaceted role that requires direct consultations with clients and collaborators both for sales discussions and project management as well as in a consultancy-style context.• Key divisional leadership role as sole divisional Director: division responsible for challenge agent development, laboratory sample analysis and logistics, assay development, clinical trial design and scientific technical support• Working closely with Finance team to develop and implement divisional P and L tools• Oversight of project P and L and budget tools for the division • Leadership and management of the Project Support team whom are responsible for the project management, GCP compliance and technical support to projects• Leadership and Management of the Challenge Agent Development team whom are responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s challenge agent strategy and ensuring GxP compliance both in the Europe and the USA.• Lead the scientific aspects of FDA consultation meetings• Key business development role working with the CMO and sales teams to consult with clients to design studies to meet client’s needs and support them scientifically and operationally.• Provide technical support as expert in human challenge model to clients and collaborators seeking funding from Venture Capitalist organisations.

An extension of the Associate Director, Virology role to include an increased responsibility reflective of a wider role within the Company and division as well as the significant increased growth of the Company. Scientific role leading the biological aspects in multidisciplinary projects in the field of nuclear medicine imaging. Key responsibilities • Lead, plan and interpret the biological experimental aspects for the multidisciplinary project team• Assist in the general operations of the BSL2 and radiological laboratories• Consult in terms of biological safety and application of regulations• Supervise and train junior members of the department• Set up systems for and subsequently manage GMO compliance for the site

Role summary: Primarily a laboratory based role working with numerous different viruses in both BSL 2 and 3 laboratories. Key responsibilities • Conduct of studies to GLP both as scientist and Study Director• Provide university virology teaching assistance as a guest lecturer• Company representative on university GMO assessment committee• Oversee all molecular biology work in the Company
