With the University of Washington - Tacoma, along with the tasks of my previous position I manage a team of 5 data analyst interns, where I provided guidance on project management, data analysis techniques, quality control, database management, and web design. Under my leadership our interns can develop modern analysis skills and techniques and apply them to any project they may come across in the future. With this group our I.R. department was able to develop key performance indicators from a wide spectrum of data using Python, Excel and PowerBI. This allowed for the University to better understand our strengths and weaknesses at the national level by comparing other universities to the same KPIs. We then presented this information to upper administration and have since used the KPIs for all major reporting.

With Access Laser I have been set into the position of bringing a small 23 person company to a level of nearly 50 users. Within 6 months I had single handedly implemented a new Exchange Server, security uniformity across the network, and created a relational database to monitor our incoming RMA’s to better monitor our response time and quality. These changes have allowed for a more secure and steady work flow across the board as measured by our companies Key Performance Indicators. Currently I am heading a seven man team to securely relaunch our Manufacturing ERP system to help with our company’s production efficiency, while also heading a team that is working to create a database that will monitor just over 50,000 entries a day and compile that information into concise and functional reports using SQL and Tableau.

Served as a student elected representative with a focus on legislative affairs for the University of Washington, Tacoma. In this position I was expected to have a high level of time management and communication skills in order to correctly allocate work. I was also expected to have a high proficiency in Informational Technology, as I was the only member of our team that had taken any type of computer science classes, and used those skills to maintain a number of our databases. While serving on the committee I was also chosen as a student intern as a fiscal analyst with the Higher Education Coordinating Board from December 2011 - May 2012.
