Performs hands-on physical and chemical testing in accordance with standard procedures, utilizing wet-chemistry and instrumental techniques. (ex. HPLC, FTIR, GC-MS, etc.) Prepares samples for testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Operates and maintains scientific instruments including performing instrument calibration. Assists in development and validation of assay methods. Maintains accurate, up-to-date and concise laboratory notebooks and records. Monitors product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Applies Standard Operating Procedures, global methods, local methods and published standard or compendia methods i.e., USP, AOCS, ASTM.

Contract employee through Actalent working at Medallion Labs as a member of the Fiber Lab team I conduct LECO protein analyses daily. Organizes workload and prioritizes samples to maximize output and meet deadlines. Ensures routine maintenance tasks are completed on time and logged appropriately. Meets Quality control and ISO requirements. Maintains work environment that complies with GMI and Medallion safety rules. Performs routine instrument and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Assists with training new employees on lab procedures

Drives delivery truck to deliver plants and flowers on time and on schedule. Provides excellent service when unloading product and interacting with customers.

Played NAIA volleyball at Clark University and DIII volleyball at University of Mount Union (Team Captain). Provided on and off-the court leadership to teammates and performed outreach to recruits to promote an inclusive and welcoming culture.Promoted the men’s program on social media and through fundraising efforts.
