• Managing a team of employees, transport planners, production planners, co-ordinators and administrators totalling 15+.
• Responsible for recruitment, performance management and disciplinary procedures.
• Accountable for delivering customer service across south east for aggregates and asphalt.
• Taking lead in major contract planning.

• Running of rail network within South East region, moving average of 38,000 tonnes per week of aggregates.
• Regional forecast gathering and communicating.
• Cross regional replenishment forecasting.
• Owner and negotiator of mixer hire matrix. Negotiated with external hire truck companies, gaining a saving of £144,000 yearly comparison. Some even gained confidence to work “on the ticket”.
