Having undergone a career change at 30 years old, with my first day on site on the 19th March 2020 (The day the world closed for lockdown) i have overcome the challenges of joining a trade and made the most of the last 24 months. In addition to the 4 years of College, I've spent the last 2 years working for Tyandco Electrical, Manchester & Cheshire Facilities and CSK Electrical LTD as an Electrical Improver whilst completing my 2365 level 2 and level 3 qualifications in Electrical Installation (Self funded)I'm currently in the process of completing my NVQ level 3 (roughly 50%) with the aim to have this, and the AM2 complete within the next 3 months.In those two years, i have learnt a vast amount of knowledge on Electrical Installations, and have been responsible for looking after a number of jobs.I have a good understanding of most forms of containment (tray, basket, trunking, dado, conduit PVC & metal) and wiring first fix and second fix lighting, power and lighting control systems (Dali, P.I.R), Fire alarm systems, SWA's, SY cable and wiring three phase isolators for condenser units.Transferrable skills;- Diploma in Electrical Installation 2365 level 2.- Diploma in Electrical Installations 2365 Level 3.- Valid ECS Labourer's Card.- Asbestos Awareness UKATA Course- Experience in working alone or as part of a strong team.- A strong eye for detail- A great work ethic and willingness to learn and improve.- A full UK driving license.Many thanks for reading, and get in touch if you have any opportunities available!Andy
