I am a transitioning Navy Veteran with 8 years of leadership and management experience entering the healthcare industry. I have a very personal reason for this transition and wanted to share it here.My grandmother, who raised me in high school, was misdiagnosed and died the day the actual diagnosis was found three years ago. This really pushed me into wanting to pursue a career in healthcare, primarily focusing on emerging technologies and helping medical professionals in utilizing Artificial Intelligence in positive ways in the medical field. This new mindset allowed me to take the proper steps in making this a reality. I started taking online courses to get certifications for Artificial Intelligence and got accepted into Johns Hopkins Full Time STEM MBA Program at Carey Business School.
