This required that I manage the justice schedule, including setting meetings and appointments, clearing conflicts, and keeping the justice apprised of his commitments. I answered the justice's phone, made copies, drafted letters and memos, made travel arrangements, and ran errands if necessary. In addition, I assisted the justice in planning and coordinating the annual banquet for a legal organization to which the justice belonged.Justice Gordon's chambers was a fast-paced environment in which I often had multiple urgent projects simultaneously and had to prioritize which ones to complete first, while also completing each of them in a timely but accurate manner. New issues could arise without warning, and required quick thinking and action.
