    Freelance preparator, rotating between several museums & galleries as our schedules allowed.* I helped the Skirball with their superb Roy Lichtenstein show, which ran through 2017.* At the UCLA Hammer Museum, I helped turn over special exhibitions including Still Life With Fish, Look Before You Leap: Black Mountain College, Made in LA: The Hammer Biennial, and Jimmie Durham.* At The Huntington Library, Art Galleries and Botanical Gardens, I helped install and de-install exhibitions of artwork, manuscripts, documents, etc. for the Library Division and the Art Division. I made models, plans, maquettes, and more to assist curators in designing temporary exhibitions.I helped rotate and change-out manuscripts and archival materials to maintain preservation standards, and also to access items for scholars to use.* As a regular preparator at Luis de Jesus Gallery in Culver City, I rotated fifteen shows of contemporary art, including painting, drawing video, installation, and new media.

    At The Clark, I assisted the curatorial staff during The Clark's expansion project. I made scale models of existing buildings and the new Clark Center, now completed and open to the public. I made scale mock-ups of all artworks in The Clark collection, and all artworks coming to the museum for special exhibitions, and completed a digital library of same. I made actual-size mock-ups of complex sculptures, various paintings, decorative arts objects, display cases, exterior signage, and other objects as needed to assist curators, designers, and engineers in the realization of the new Clark.

    I helped Darren Waterston build "Filthy Lucre", a room-sized installation which essentially ran Whistler's "Peacock Room" through a filter. The piece involved construction, finish carpentry, and elaborate painting, all of which I helped with, as well as sound, light, and other elements that involved more than a dozen people. It was a well-received travelling exhibition and one of the most rewarding museum projects I've worked on.
