About Andrew Debevec
I am a User support technician at Lund University, helping climate scientists use the ICOS Carbon Portal to obtain and use carbon observation data from across Europe. I have previously worked as a bioinformatician and an online learning specialist as well.I have spent 8 years working in educational technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, including developing online courses, LMS support and administration, and helping to support computational biology research. Prior to that, I received my M.S. in Entomology, and have performed research in phylogenetics and taxonomy.Since August 2023, I have been based out of Malmö, Sweden. I have been learning Swedish and establishing myself here since -- it's been a huge and wonderful change!
