I manage the Indianapolis and Dayton, Ohio, offices. We complete all aspects of land survey projects. We also complete surveys for oil and gas clients, including route surveys, topo, boundary, staking, and as-builts. I am also in charge of survey budgets and proposals.

We complete all types of projects including ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys, construction staking, plot plans, platting services. Projects completed to date include condominium plats and staking, multi-family residential, multi-story commercial building and parking, institutional surveys, large park topographic surveys. We have been working for developers, construction companies, engineers, landscape architects and community development organizations. I manage the state's GPS INCORS network. As the administrator I help manage the stations that INDOT operates along with assisting current and future users with issues that they may have occur. This also includes coordinating between Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan for data that is streamed from their CORS network. I am also charged with serving on numerous committees: for the height modernization project, state plane coordinate system, Lidar mobile scanning policy manual, the updating of the state survey manual, the benchmark recovery project, and others.I also provide training and guidance to the crew for route surveys.

Managing the daily operations of surveying department; coordinating and scheduling for one Cad tech and three crews (two crews in the winter); marketing for new survey business; serving as a liaison for clients’ survey needs; overseeing survey projects including ALTA/ACSM, boundary, topographic surveys and construction staking.

Surveying of location route survey plats for road projects; conducting staking of highway projects for property owners to see new right of way; managing entire land acquisition projects; setting property lines by deeds for state highway and local road projects and preparing all documents for the authority to purchase the land as right of way; abstracting parcels for small road projects. Projects included a 1,400 acre topographic survey for the new I-69 route.

Subdivision designing; property surveying; landfill surveying from new cell construction to quarterly topographic surveys; site designing; serving as crew chief; estimating; dealing with municipalities; and computer drafting. LS&C was a fairly small company for which I handled projects with no assistance from others in the company as well as made decisions to ensure meeting completion deadlines. My last project was the Gary Landfill Closure Project.

Completed drafting of large sanitary sewer projects. Digitized aerial photos into autocad for use in designing of projects. Drafting included sewer line placements, labeling lines, and profiles. Also completed field work including levels and topographic data collection.
