• Implemented autonomous navigation using ROS with Python and C++ packages for a TurtleBot 2 using a LIDAR sensor to reach 3 waypoints while avoiding both known and unknown obstacles given a map with an initial location.• Designed and integrated a QR code computer vision search algorithm for the TurtleBot 2 to locate and identify QR codes in the environment using a mounted camera while managing version control using GitHub Projects.

• Conducted 2 participant research experiments with 24 total participants to evaluate factors that affect stiffness perception of a virtual wall rendered with a one-dimensional kinesthetic haptic device using Matlab and Simulink.• Managed experimental data, participant information, and project documentation in a 16-person laboratory.• Contributed to an IEEE Transactions on Haptics journal paper presenting the findings and implications of the experiments (under review)
