With over 15 years of experience in banking, I am a passionate and driven leader who oversees the mortgage disclosures and software systems at SouthStar Bank. In my position, I work closely with our loan officers, processors, and closers to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in the origination and closing of mortgage loans. I also collaborate internally and externally to implement and optimize software solutions that enhance customer service, streamline workflows, and reduce costs. My core competencies include loans, mortgage lending, credit, compliance, software systems, team management, and customer relations. I am currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Banking and Financial Institutions at Sam Houston State University, where I have received multiple scholarships for my academic excellence and leadership potential. I am also NMLS certified, which demonstrates my commitment to ethical and professional standards in the mortgage industry.
