• Develop and implement the school's short and long-term technology plans.• In partnership with the business office and senior leadership team, develop technology operating and capital budgets, allocate resources and determine project schedules. Procurement of IT hardware and software for faculty, staff, and students.• Managing and maintaining Google infrastructure.• Create, implement, and maintain network and device security in accordance with best practices and industry standards; managing password protocols, anti-virus software, network and systems access.• Develop and implement technology infrastructure and software strategies. Serve as a source of information on trends, research, applications, and best practices in the field of technology in schools.• Direct IT HelpDesk and support staff in the setup and maintenance of, but not limited to (account creation, network printer management, iPads, computers/ChromeBooks, projectors, document cameras, webcams, microphones, in-class tech set-ups for remote teaching / live streaming of video and/or audio, etc.).• Schedule one-on-one meetings with faculty/staff for new hire technology setups and training, replacement equipment, onboarding and offboarding.• Provide a big-picture perspective while supporting and encouraging new initiatives throughout the school, both programmatically and administratively.• Manage backup, disaster and recovery plan; ensuring systems are properly maintained and backed up. Serve as the point person for tech support for schoolwide databases.
