At Aero Bending my welding career reached a whole new level. I became familiar with the AS9100 standard. I obtained AWS D17.1 certifications for thin wall stainless, aluminum, and titanium tubing. I learned how to use a new range of tools including precision cutting and facing machines, precision measurement tools, precision fixturing tools, and orbital welders; and because I've been TIG welding nearly every workday for over 10 years, I gained many thousands of hours of experience. Working with professionals in other departments over the years has really heightened my interpersonal skills and I enjoy working with other skilled staff toward a common goal.

At Thermal R&D I gained lots of new skills and experience. Starting out by learning the safe operation and maintenance of metal fab machinery such as sheers, breaks, presses, metal saws, plasma cutters, and swage machines among others. I was able to add to my MIG experience and learned to TIG weld. I also learned some semi-automatic welding prosses. For my last 2 years there I managed a small team in the muffler department of our shop where we turned raw materials into finished products.

Working at Spohn Ranch Skateparks was an exciting way to kick off my career. In addition to mild steel fabrication using oxyacetylene torches, MIG welders, cold cut saws, hydraulic notchers and many other basic fab tools in our shop; I also did skatepark construction in the field. traveling to 16 states and 2 other countries as a consultant and a park builder I gained lots of experience working with clients and other professionals to help bring together park events or to build permanent city owned skateparks.
