About Andrew Dunstan

I am a highly motivated and experienced (ITIL Certified) & Security Cleared) Service Design & Transition Manager of over 25 years, mainly across financial IT projects and programmes but not exclusively. This experience has enabled me to obtain extensive knowledge in all aspects of Service Delivery, specialising in Service Design & Transition Management and Operational Acceptance. My ability to build networks and communicate clearly across all stakeholder groups has allowed me to not only deliver successful projects, products and services, but also bring back struggling projects into scope and timeframes. My career has meant working and supervising throughout the SDLC on both multi-vendor and dedicated platform sites. During this time I have been responsible for both the delivery of bespoke testing environments as well as the delivery and transition of new and amended services to production environments utilising the ITIL frameworks. This has included cross-platform connectivity between distributed client server platforms and legacy platforms, impact (QA) analysis on disruption to production service availabilities, together with post-implementation analysis to provide process improvement recommendations.All the above has meant having a flexible approach to work as I have enjoyed working as both part of a large implementation project team as well as having to work under my own initiative.
