I graduated from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a business degree in Finance with a collateral in Business Analytics. One of my biggest strengths is executing; I have done this by being a high achiever with consistency. In my two internships over the past two summers, I got the privilege of working for New York Life and SmartBank. At both, I learned the importance of working in a team and being able to communicate efficiently with managers and other interns to complete the assigned tasks each day. In my part-time job as an umpire for TSSAA and the Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge, I am the youngest umpire in both companies and have been highly praised by both employers for how I have performed. Also, being analytical is my other biggest strength. In umpiring, I must think of the best outcome to de-escalate situations when they become hostile. Some of my business interests include looking at financing and mortgages for loans, looking into banking finances, and the statistics of companies. My experiences with both my parents being in business jobs and always enjoying math have prepared me to pursue a career where I can utilize my knowledge in statistics and be strong mathematically. For example, I keep a running spreadsheet of all the money I have made and spent regarding umpiring and keeping up with totals. My career goal after college is to build a career in finance and go into investment banking or go into corporate financial analytics. I want to build relationships with others through finance and help companies meet their goals.
