Senior Engineer in the ALD group at Lam Research. I was a key engineer for an extensive cost reduction program of one of the STRIKER line of ALD Deposition tools. Responsibilities included: Systems level changes to the system to enable more efficient sub-system and component level packaging.Design of a new structural dynamic upper frame that houses Remote plasma sources, RF Generators, coolant pluming, chemical delivery plumping, and controls.Integration and Pilot manufacturing support on first builds to ensure improvements to assembly and manufacturability key metrics. Overall program was successful in increasing product Gross Margin by ~25% compared to incumbent design. Other responsibilities included optimizes gas delivery system flow and timing controls, Status reporting to product and project managements, and mentoring of interns and junior engineers.

Senior Engineer in the Aftertreatment System (ATS) integration team. Main role was to integrating the US version (Detroit Diesel) of Daimler Global Aftertreatment System 2.0 (GATS 2.0) for 2020 and beyond in all applicable Freightliner products, mainly heavy duty trucks. I was responsible for design, documentation, test, and quality assurance of exhaust routing from engine to ATS, ATS mounting, and ATS interface to DTNA vehicles. Technical owner of exhaust bellows for the DTNA heavy/medium duty truck portfolio, and representative for North America in Daimler's global commodity group. Focus on project management in addition to design responsibilities to ensure DTNA's exhaust compliance with EPA/CARB mandates.

Design engineer in the Chassis Aero and Step group. Designed a patented Back of Cab Access Step and released step systems to integrate the DTNA Side Guard Assurance (a blind-spot, radar based pedestrian/object detection system) on medium and heavy duty trucks.Chassis integration engineer for eClipse, Freightliner's first Electric Heavy duty truck demonstrator unit. I was responsible for integrating a electric drivetrain Mercedes-Benz Truck Chassis with a Freightliner Cascadia Cab and Body. Key integration areas included, Suspension mounting, Steering Gear, Cab mounting, Front Frame assembly, ePowered component mounting, and Hood/Grill mounting. Designed a novel grill opening mechanism with the prototype vehicle development team which led to a patent on the design.Participant in the CAReer Trainee in the Daimler CAReer program.
