I started my career in the Commercial Construction sector with one of Canada’s largest construction companies. I was later approached by a friend to look into a career in Restoration. I was offered the position as a Project manager with Winmar-London. That move opened my eyes to a completely new career path and is where I fell in love with the Restoration Industry. My goals were always to be a business owner and as such, I made the decision to open the first Winmar Restoration office outside of Ontario, with the opening of Winmar – Vancouver in 2006.I have always felt that education is the foundation to any successful career. I first Graduated from the four year diploma program – Construction Engineering Technology Management, which I obtained a C.E.T Designation. I then worked to get certifications through the IICRC in: AMRT, ASD, OCT, WRT, FSRT, CCT, UFT, HST, obtaining my Masters certification from the IICRC in both Fire and Water damage restoration. I recently completed my CR designation through the RIA in the United States.
