Inmarsat was acquired by Viasat on 31 May 2023. Post-acquisition I led the Sarbanes Oxley compliance programme for legacy Inmarsat operations. This covered some 19 business processes and 30 critical systems identifying 100's of key business and IT controls that needed to be SOx ready and compliant. The programme involved dozens of people from across the organisation and the engagement of third party specialist consultants.
