Despite the unassuming title, I made key contributions to improving efficiency and collaboration across the organization of 1,500 employees. I built and implemented an intranet from scratch using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, replacing a legacy web presence made up of 113 disparate websites with a streamlined end-to-end digital ecosystem for students, faculty, and staff.Additional highlights include:• Achieving near-100% adoption of the new intranet among a unionized workforce (many of whom had been using the same systems and processes for up to 30 years) by creating an intuitive UX and micro-learning modules. The intranet’s success led to contracts with other colleges and a professional association to create replicas.• Creating a virtual facility tour of the college’s campus (similar to Google’s Street View feature) using 3D Vista, which has been used for student recruitment and marketing, construction site review, and more. The tool enabled the school to continue providing tours during Covid-19 and directly resulted in a bonus donation.• Streamlining administrative tasks, removing organizational silos, and enabling self-serve data reporting capabilities by developing a swim lane-style map of 250 processes and implementing many automations.• Improving tracking and efficiency of renting and maintaining 1,600 lab assets by creating a barcode system.• Boosting efficiency by developing and implementing an e-signature tool for fund transfers in Power Automate. Proactively took on this initiative after an off-the-shelf solution failed to pass data security policy standards.• Ensuring seamless continuation of classes during Covid-19 by quickly creating 40 virtual classrooms using Teams.• Migrating the entire 480-student base to remote learning with no effect on competency standards during Covid-19.• Developing and implementing effective SOPs for purchasing, account payable, accounts receivable, and more.

As an analyst for OVC I spearheaded the development of the college's Project Management Office and started developing an intranet for the college, to optimize communication and collaboration for a workforce of 1500, using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

I was selected to manage a team of 8 staff in an initiative to catch up on 10,000 backlogged invoices. We successfully delivered by building a new subledger for a large budget. I saved six figures in shipping costs through needs analysis.

In my first role at OVC I was widely praised and promoted to a team lead role after recommending and implementing a QuickBooks-based solution and barcoding system to more efficiently manage and monitor the hospital’s budget.
