Andrew M. Fox, creator and owner of Life's A Beach Family Photography, has been building to this moment in time over a lifetime's span since his first paying design job when he was 5, over 50 years ago working at the feet of his father Jerry Fox the creator of G.I. Joe.Mr. Fox attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn N.Y. from 1977-1982 acquiring his bachelors degree in fine arts.He apprenticed and opened his first studio in 1988 in Manhattan, NYC in the heart of the photo district without a penny in his pocket but a commitment to succeed. Slowly he was engaging modeling agencies to send him the new models to be tested. Agencies such as Ford Kid's, Elite, IMG and others started to send their ingénues on a regular basis. He wasn't even published but he was earning his "chops" as a professional artist and business man. As well, Mr. Fox spent several years as a wedding photographer's assistant and finally a lead photographer for several top NYC studios.Having relocated to the Grand Strand in 1998, he reinvented his professional life with the creation of Life's A Beach Family Photography when he discovered the pristine beaches of the Carolina coast. It took a few years to get it all in order and then in spring of 2003 he started marketing and planning for his first summer. Through persistence and extreme commitment to success principles he created the company now know as Life's A Beach Family Photography Inc. Using all that digital technology has to offer he has reinvented the wheel by the way family photography will be done for years to come.His newest venture is Life's a Beach Fine Homes Photography & Films bringing the finest in home & architectural photography to the market place.
