I joined Valmec in a senior role as the Project Development Manager, starting up an office based in Brisbane. My role entails Business Development activities / Operations Support to projects across the East Coast of Australia for Civil works, installation of Facilities, Compression Equipment, Power Generation, Well Heads, Process, E&I and associated piping.

I joined Macdow in Nov 2009 in a senior role within the pipeline business unit, as the Facilities and Compression Manager. For the past 18 months I have been in a Project Management role based on site for all the above ground facilities on the QCLNG pipeline. This entails day to day operations, client interaction, P&L responsibilities, planning and resourcing activities, design changes and managing all facilities variations. I was accountable for full responsibility of the P&L for the Australian operations making corporate decisions, to achieve the best results for the company. • I looked after all aspects and contract negotiations for new sales and rental of gas compression equipment into the Asian Pacific market including compiling of budgetary and firm tenders for both our Australian and Singapore manufacturing facilities. • Due to the workload in our Singapore manufacturing facilities, I started manufacturing compression equipment out of Australia. Brewer Power Station SuperintendentFor this position I provided 24/7 callout coverage and was responsible for the day to day operations of the 8.7MW power station. In 1996 I travelled to Canada and the Waukesha factory based in the USA for extensive 2 month training on the AT engines for the Brewer Power Station project in Alice Springs. • This training enabled me to become the only Waukesha certified AT engine series technician in Australia.
