- Responsible for the resolution of reconciliation issues to support the maintenance and validation of investment records provided to Portfolio Managers. - Focused on key operational controls, break theme analysis and future prevention. - Proactively supervise the Reconciliations Team.- Manage the accuracy and continuity of data within the supported systems.- Continuously examine and evaluate departmental processes and procedures to ensure client service is maintained - Proactively identify process improvements, service and risks to ensure client service is robust to meet capacity and stakeholder requirements - Manage and direct the resolution of day to day operational issues and resolve anomalies to ensure high-level of customer service and accurate transactions- Continuous review of team procedures, policies and systems. - Produce management information to management highlighting trends, analysis and errors - Ensuring team effectiveness through active performance management. Identify training and development needs of staff and team to support department objectives. - Oversee account transitions to ensure accurate reconciliation data is maintained for new/lost clients or custody changes and any exceptions pre/post transition event are addressed.
