Adapting a traditional rider-operated e-scooter to be fully autonomous. Replaced nearly all electronic components on the original e-scooter with a more capable on board computer and motor controller to support intelligent navigation and locomotion, along with making necessary structural changes to support riderless travel. Working with ROS (Robot Operating System) in Linux to configure the e-scooter to reliably create a path in any environment while executing necessary obstacle avoidance.

Assisting with editing and publishing an online course in statistics for “math anxious” students. Researching rights on pieces of intellectual property to ensure a smooth publishing process. Additionally, marketing the course to customers on Linkedin and maintaining relationships.

Tasks included quality assurance testing, developing an internal rewards system with a team of interns of different backgrounds, business applications of Microsoft Publisher and Excel, and query languages. Worked in a startup environment using Project Tracking Software (Jira) where each day presented unique challenges.
