Developed Orange County management team entirely from internal hourly hires promoted from within. Responsible for new manager training as well as developing teams for new store openings. Directed company wine program, vendor relationships, and new product acquisition. Direct reports: 1 regional chef, 9 managers, 8 chefs, and 6 hourly supervisors in addition to all new management trainees and over 150 hourly employees. Locations showed year over year +10% sales increase with $20million annual revenue. Aggregate review scores over 4.5/5.

Opening GM for the company’s first expansion from San Diego. Best New Restaurant in Orange County in OC Weekly’s Best Of voting. Consistently met both financial and reviews-based goals. Exceeded expectations in every performance review.

Managed eclectic and diverse wine program including rare wines and whimsical tasting cards. Developed strategies for increasing sales including special events, off-premise events, and in house promotions i.e. “Conversation Thursdays”, a weekly event where guests are encouraged to keep their phones behind the bar, and order without wine list through staff guidance. “Conversation Thursdays” was featured in regional newspapers and blogs and increased Thursday night business by 30+%.
