This included scoping and research, writing, editing, project management, user involvement working with people affected by dementia, working with designers and print suppliers to ensure publications were consistent with brand guidelines.In this role I:- managed the production of a new flagship guide for carers, 'Caring for a person with dementia: A practical guide', with 60,000 copies distributed in the first year- wrote and produced several new publications for people affected by dementia and carers relating to: young-onset dementia, frontotemporal dementia, how dementia affects relationships, supporting an LGBT person with dementia- managed, edited and updated 'The memory handbook' - distributed to 50,000 people with memory problems every year- managed, edited and updated a number of factsheets for carers of people with dementia, on topics including end of life care, grief, eating and drinking, memory loss, dementia with Lewy bodies- created, designed and delivered a series of training courses – face-to-face workshops, webinars and online courses, for staff on Alzheimer's Society's house style- managed a review of Alzheimer's Society's information portfolio of resources for carers (over 70 resources) through research with over 130 carers- copyedited and produced Alzheimer's Society's policy and research reports.
