Key achievements:- Team leadership: Developed and managed a team of permanent and freelance online learning creators, designers and writers/editors, fostering a productive, collaborative work environment.- Content development: Collaborated extensively with both clinical and non-clinical staff, as well as patients, to produce over 30 high-quality, relevant learning materials, using Articulate Rise, LearnWorlds and a range of additional tools.- Communications and brand development: designed a new, more impactful logo, and developed and championed a style guide.- Strategy development: Wrote and directed the organisation's first ever two-year strategy, leading to significant improvements in our brand, education offer, quality management and processes.- Event design and management: Successfully designed and executed online learning events on a range of topics for audiences ranging from 10 to over 100.- Workshop facilitation: Designed and facilitated face-to-face workshops, including with senior stakeholders, to develop education strategies, with positive feedback from a range of participants.- Digital engagement: Led the overhaul of the Academy's website and social media presence, with a marked increase in user engagement.

In a fast-paced full-time consultant role, I managed a variety of projects, leading teams to deliver high-quality, high-impact learning events for a diverse range of clients – including government departments, NHS organisations and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.Key achievements:- Leading digital transformation: Led Kaleidoscope's pivotal shift from face-to-face to digital events at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, providing strategic direction to redefine our core product to meet a rapid shift in market demands.- Project management and team leadership: Successfully led project teams in designing and executing innovative, engaging training and learning events. Managed digital conferences with audience sizes ranging from intimate groups of 10 to large-scale events of 1,000 participants, consistently delivering engaging and informative experiences.- Strategy consulting for national NHS projects: Led crucial workstreams for senior NHS clients, to formulate and implement a national strategy for clinical sectors in England.- Organisational development: Led and introduce Kaleidoscope's workforce planning and recruitment strategy, overseeing an increase in workforce to ensure optimal team composition, and set expectations for internal communications.- Mentorship and coaching: Provided mentorship and coaching to new team members, to support them to execute various projects, including publications, engagement initiatives, and research and evaluation projects. This led to high-quality outputs with positive feedback from clients and stakeholders.

Managing the review and production of public healthcare information on dementia, including factsheets, booklets, and in-house publishing. This included scoping and research, writing, editing, project management, user involvement working with people affected by dementia, working with designers and print suppliers to ensure publications were consistent with brand guidelines.In this role I:- managed the production of a new flagship guide for carers, 'Caring for a person with dementia: A practical guide', with 60,000 copies distributed in the first year- wrote and produced several new publications for people affected by dementia and carers relating to: young-onset dementia, frontotemporal dementia, how dementia affects relationships, supporting an LGBT person with dementia- managed, edited and updated 'The memory handbook' - distributed to 50,000 people with memory problems every year- managed, edited and updated a number of factsheets for carers of people with dementia, on topics including end of life care, grief, eating and drinking, memory loss, dementia with Lewy bodies- created, designed and delivered a series of training courses – face-to-face workshops, webinars and online courses, for staff on Alzheimer's Society's house style- managed a review of Alzheimer's Society's information portfolio of resources for carers (over 70 resources) through research with over 130 carers- copyedited and produced Alzheimer's Society's policy and research reports.

Managed various aspects of policy and public affairs work. For example:- Produced and wrote a guide for carers on what to expect when someone is dying - commended by Baroness Julia Neuberger (chair of the Liverpool Care Pathway review) and Prof Bee Wee, the National Clinical Director for End of Life Care- Produced and wrote 'Getting serious about prevention' - a report for commissioners and decision-makers to enable people to be out of hospital at the end of life. 800 copies distributed in the first six months after publication.- Copyedited internal and external publications.- Taught an MSc module on Policy and Palliative Care.- Presented on end of life care at national and local conferences across England.- Wrote briefings, letters and scripts for MPs for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Hospice and Palliative Care. (This included liaising with Ministers, MPs and Peers).- Wrote and submitted responses to government and Parliamentary consultations.- Wrote magazine and newsletter articles.
