I just finished studying a Masters in Medical Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Groningen. My ambitions are to work as a chemist, biologist, or biotechnician within the pharmaceutical industry, or related fields.I was a contractor for Thermo Fischer Scientific, working as a media and buffer preperation technician in a GMP cleanroom setting. I have obtained a B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical biology at Jacobs University Bremen. I have 4 years research experience in a chemistry laboratory setting, including organic synthesis and analytical characterization of new dyes for ocular surgery and novel proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs) for cancer treatments. I also completed a project in enzyme engineering via directed evolution over 9 months. As an undergraduate student I was hired as a teaching assistant for several practical lab courses, and was responsible for the maintenance of the Safety Level 1 lab Scullery
