Frightening numbers that are only increasing. Time is known to be crucial after a cycling accident. If you get the right help within one hour, you have the best chance of making a good recovery. To ensure that from now on everyone gets help on time, we started Bypoint: the world's first fall detection system for attached to a bicycle. Our product functions without linking to a mobile phone or app. After a fall, registered contacts receive an SMS indicating the exact location. Immediate action can then be taken by contacting the fallen person and/or calling the emergency services. By collecting anonymous fall data, we help make cycle paths in provinces and municipalities safer. We already have an initial collaboration with Province of Drenthe, which we provide with anonymous data with information on dangerous spots. - Among other things, Bypoint has been seen and heard on: BNR, NOS, NPO, RTV Drenthe, Dagblad van het Noorden, Asser and Leeuwarder Courant. - There are now 18 resellers connected as official points of sale. - Bypoint was officially launched last 1 September. - Helping the Province of Drenthe make the province more bike-safe.
