Gross turnover £64m, variable & fixed cost budget £46m, capital budget £12m and 120 employees/reports.Operations Manager South East Feb. 1998 - Dec. 2002 responsible for eight sand and gravel quarries and two joint venture businesses.

Started as Senior Estates Surveyor progressing to Regional Estates Manager overseeing all aspects of property management in relation to a variety of quarries, gravel pits, asphalt plants, ready mixed concrete plants, aggregates wharves and reclamation sites.Areas covered - Planning permission; landlord and tenant; agricultural holdings; compulsory purchase; easements or wayleaves; business rates; property disposals and public liaison.
