• The main scope of this role was to be responsible for designated audit and accounts assignments, ensuring they were completed to the highest standard on a proactive basis and to report to either the Senior Audit Manager or directly to the Partners. • Regular contact with clients was maintained, ensuring their expectations of high quality service were met. Particularly, every client is unique, with differing levels of knowledge and as such varied communication skills are needed to ensure they are receiving the greatest benefit out of advice given to them and the work performed on their behalf. • The role involved supervising and supporting more junior staff and ensuring that their training and development needs were met. • A strong knowledge of ISAs (UK & Ireland) and UK GAAP was maintained. Responsible for ensuring all audit and accounts software and supporting documents were in line with latest industry standards. • QAD (Institute monitoring) visit was passed satisfactorily with direct contact with the Inspector in respect of jobs designated to the Supervisor role.
