Performed on-demand statistical consulting and analysis for academic research at Intercollegiate Biomathematics Alliance (IBA) member institutions. Work included guidance in experimental and data design as well as research-level statistical analysis and data visualization. Work was typically done in Python, making use of the numpy, pandas, and matplotlib packages. Helped plan and lead student groups at CURE, an undergraduate research conference where I also gave seminars in technical writing, R, and Python. Coauthored NSF grant requesting funding for a future student conference.

Taught introductory and advanced statistics and probability courses, as well as held office hours and tutoring sessions (both private and public). Presented ongoing and completed research in several Discrete Mathematics and Algebra seminars at ISU, as well as a graduate student conference. Published multiple papers across diverse mathematical disciplines. Encouraged and stimulated student engagement and growth.

Led creation, testing, and improvement of proprietary digital solutions for data collection and analysis across multiple facilities and groups, with work mainly focused on a web-app tracking manufacturing defects, inventory adjustments, and global quality alerts. Projects required intimate knowledge of Python, SQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS, as well as the Python-based web framework Django. Designed and managed multiple large SQL databases, as well as led efforts in producing live heatmaps, metrics, and dashboards, saving hundreds of hours of review and analytics time yearly and allowing operations leaders to quickly parse through facility events. Efficiently performed ETL/standard data cleanup and maintenance tasks when integrating new systems. Analytics efforts were typically performed in Python, R, Excel, and Power BI. Wrote in-depth documentation and provided mentoring/training for new employees joining the development team, as well as maintained robust code repositories on Azure DevOps. Frequently presented new projects and ongoing processes to facility management.Designed and provided training for operations employees in MS Office suite and other tools during slow facility periods.
