I spent 5 years as CEO of WestConnex, Australia’s largest road infrastructure project. During this period I led the transformation of the company from public to private, from construction to operations, and drove a refreshed engagement approach to significantly improve community and stakeholder sentiment. Key achievements include:* Successful delivery and integration of four major road tunnels (M4 East, M8, M5 East, M4-M8 Link)* over 40% increase in Enterprise Value* over 35% improvement in positive community sentiment * over 70% reduction in the recordable injury frequency rate (RIFR)

In 2017 I led the formation of the Sydney Transport Partners consortium which consisted of many of the world’s leading infrastructure investors. Under my leadership we created a diverse, hardworking and motivated organisational culture that delivered a ground-breaking and successful bid. This culture was then transitioned into the WestConnex transformation that followed. Key achievements include:* Drove all aspects of a highly complex multi billion dollar bid, including traffic forecasting, operating cost assumptions, financial modelling, debt and equity funding and public perception* Achieved regulatory approvals in a highly complex and contested environment* Working with internal and external financial stakeholders to fund Transurban Group’s 25% share of the transaction, the largest ever capital raising for an ASX listed company acquisition in Australian history at that time

As the NSW Group Executive (and Group Executive, Strategy, Development and M&A prior), I was instrumental in delivering the highest growth market for the Transurban Group. Under my leadership, we delivered M2 Upgrade, M5 widening, and proposed, developed and began delivery of the NorthConnex road tunnel. NorthConnex delivered a state-of-the-art piece of infrastructure that revolutionises travel in Sydney’s north-west and might not have been delivered for decades, if at all.Other key achievements:* Led all elements of the business from Operations, Tolling & Customer Management, Major Delivery Projects, Development and relationships with government, industry and regulatory stakeholders * Achieved optimised whole of life asset costs including maintenance, repair, replacement and capital investment plans* Identified future and emerging technology developments and changes to industry standards and best practice* Cross City Tunnel acquisition – Project Control Group member
