I served as the Product Manager and Product Strategist for Butter’s ‘Community’ offering. As a complement to business insurance, this community feature’s goal was to provide a space for small businesses to connect, exchange resources, and find helpful information. In service of this goal, I conducted a user research study in partnership with our UX researcher. I interviewed over 20 small business owners around the US to gather requirements and inform the direction of this nascent feature. During my time at Butter, I also served as a documentation and JIRA/Confluence SME; creating templates and processes to facilitate cross-team collaboration.I was unfortunately impacted by a department-wide layoff due to the economy.

Duties included scoping and prioritizing backlog items, release planning, requirements gathering, customer journey mapping, and cross-team collaboration/communication with various departments.
