I was promoted to Head of Product after 5 months at Totem (banking solution for indigenous people) to help execute their product launch. Totem has grown to over 500 active customers from over 60 different tribes in less than a year. As Head of Product:-I led the pre-launch beta test and helped plan Totem’s official launch in July 2023. -I orchestrated the technical implementation of Totem’s know your customer (KYC) process, which included integrations with Plaid, Sardine, and Zendesk. -I led technical discussions and integration meetings with our payment processor, Galileo. I was also responsible for validating the funds flow with Galileo and our partner bank and reconciling any issues. -Helped implement Appsflyer to track attribution through our marketing channels. -I worked with Totem’s Chief Design Officer to create a tribal payments product from scratch using Bubble.io. I was responsible for the site’s data model, workflows, and secure storage of information. -Led the planning and implementation of an authentication/security refactor with engineering. -Increased visibility into fraud vectors by setting up monitoring via Galileo webhooks and implementing escalation procedures; preventing thousands of dollars of potential fraud.

Served as the Product Manager over Totem’s mobile app. I worked with leadership to plan and execute Totem's launch/GTM strategy and lead discussions with vendors for integrations. My duties included: -Running requirements gathering meetings.-Leading discussions with vendors. -Conducting design review sessions.-Translating designs and requirements into tasks for engineering.-Prioritizing features, unblocking team members, and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.-Maintaining the product backlog and launch roadmap.-Maintaining the team's Jira boards and Confluence spaces.-QA testing and leading team bug bashes. During this time at Totem:-I led the company-wide adoption and implementation of Confluence for all documentation needs.-Created Jira dashboards and metrics to track team progress and performance.-Configured all Jira projects, Jira boards, and Jira workflows.-Implemented Totem's QA workflow.-Created roadmap and risks/dependencies tracker to ensure we stayed on track for launch.

I served as the Product Manager and Product Strategist for Butter’s ‘Community’ offering. As a complement to business insurance, this community feature’s goal was to provide a space for small businesses to connect, exchange resources, and find helpful information. In service of this goal, I conducted a user research study in partnership with our UX researcher. I interviewed over 20 small business owners around the US to gather requirements and inform the direction of this nascent feature. During my time at Butter, I also served as a documentation and JIRA/Confluence SME; creating templates and processes to facilitate cross-team collaboration.I was unfortunately impacted by a department-wide layoff due to the economy.

I served as the Product Manager over Spruce’s Money Flow team. I helped manage and maintain our banking relationship and integrations to ensure that 100% of money movement was accounted for in real time. I rolled out company admin tools that allowed for quicker/easier accounting reconciliation and mitigated thousands of dollars in wasteful effort. I also eliminated dozens of hours of manual work (and reduced context switching) by automating workflows via Zapier.Duties included serving as the Product Owner for the Money Flow Scrum team, driving the vision and structure of our banking/accounting integrations, meeting with users and clients across the business to understand the most pressing issues, defining and measuring KPIs, and implementing sustainable processes so that Spruce could function at scale. Per my passion for implementing scalable processes: -I served as a JIRA/Confluence domain expert and helped configure dashboards and team boards to facilitate cross-team communication. -I led the setup, configuration, and implementation of a new issue intake system (JIRA Service Desk), which allowed the company to surface and resolve issues with greater alacrity and in accordance with our SLAs.-I spearheaded the effort for Spruce to adopt product analytics and helped choose a vendor to sign with. -I implemented a Product-led release documentation and communication initiative, which led to more transparent practices and more satisfied stakeholders. I also created a ‘Release Management’ board to track release progress/status.

I served as the Product Manager over Noteworth’s mobile telehealth app. I helped plan and execute the product roadmap in close coordination with leadership and engineering. I helped develop Noteworth’s ‘Activity Tracker’ and ‘Goals & Activity’ tools which focused on improving patient health outcomes. Duties included roadmap scoping/planning, requirements gathering, release planning, user story creation, leading Agile ceremonies, defining/measuring metrics and KPIs for success, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful delivery.

I served as the Product Manager over ASAP's (formerly Waitr) Marketplace team, tasked to enhance the food delivery experience for its millions of customers. I worked with stakeholders to flesh out business requirements and built product value by prioritizing and helping execute high priority initiatives.I spearheaded the largest app rewrite in company history (React Native refactor), along with an updated web homepage experience that led to an increase in daily active users (DAU) and customer lifetime value (LTV). I also launched and monitored many successful revenue-impacting features, including a revised tipping experience. Duties included scoping and prioritizing backlog items, release planning, requirements gathering, customer journey mapping, and cross-team collaboration/communication with various departments. I worked closely with our design team, leveraging competitor research and user analysis to build the best product possible. I also worked hand-in-hand with our marketing team to ensure that we continued to grow our customer base.I was unfortunately impacted by a layoff that affected the entire product department due to company restructuring.

Served as the Project Manager over 5 federal projects.

Served as the Product Owner and Business Analyst for projects with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other government agencies. Duties included note-taking, requirements gathering, user story creation, testing (including creating test scripts/test plans), mockup/wireframe creation, documentation management, and serving as the liaison between technical and functional teams. I worked directly with EPA’s Technical Point of Contact (Product Owner), project manager, and stakeholders to help identify and flesh out requirements. Over the course of my tenure, I also served as the scrum master for several projects. I led the 0 to 1 build out of the Pesticide Submission Portal (PSP), which allowed regulated industry to digitally submit pesticide information. I served as an Agile coach to help other federal teams better implement Scrum.As part of CGI’s partnership with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL), I demoed CGI's Agile tools and processes to the UL Informatics capstone project class each semester.

Received 2nd degree black belt and served as an instructor for all age groups. Served as the tournament team leader, helped choreograph forms, and taught weapon classes. Also taught women’s self-defense classes.

Taught gymnastics/tumbling to all age groups.

Supported help desk/call center for medics requiring assistance with medical software and tablets. Duties included data entry, record lookup, and software support via a screen sharing application.
