Courses Taught: AP US History, AP World History, Modern US History- Founded AP US History course and maintained a pass rate at the top of the KIPP network for the exam.Collaboratively developed and iterated on a series of five point rubrics aligned to the College Board AP History Historical Reasoning Skills in order to build vertical alignment throughout grade 9-12 history classrooms.- Design and facilitate primary source based curricula at the AP and general education level aligned to College Board AP History Historical Reasoning Skills.- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data from interim assessments, process based learning assessments, exit tickets, and homework in order to identify and act on trends, gaps in instruction, and students who need intervention.- Plan, implement, and evaluate the impact of small and whole group interventions in response to in-class data.

- Served on a highly selective four member team of English and history teachers chosen from across the KIPP network.- Revised and coded four replica ACT Reading sections used for ACT interim assessments for the entire KIPP network.- Wrote fiction and non-fiction ACT aligned reading sections in order to track student growth on specific CCRS skills using texts aligned to 9th and 10th grade English curricula.- Developed and implemented ACT aligned professional development to provide teachers with the tools to teach CCRS reading skills and analyze data in order to identify instructional priorities.

- Tutored small groups of students in reading, grammar, and college preparation skills.- Worked with Boston University professors to facilitate 12 high school seniors to take one course each semester at Boston University by planning and providing supplemental review sessions.- Facilitated interviews and site visits for prospective MATCH Corps Members.

- Planned and led three to five day backpacking and overnight bike trips for small groups of campers ages 13-16.- Led daily hiking trips for up to 30 campers ages 7-16 ranging from two miles to 23 miles.- Managed support staff in wilderness settings in order to mitigate the risk of outdoor activities.- Planned and executed medical evacuations from overnight trips in wilderness areas.

- Planned and executed daily practices in conjunction with the girls nordic coach.- Organized logistics for weekly meets including managing racer start times and parent volunteers.
