Setting up practice, laundry, game ball shagger, travel with team, distribute gear to players when needed.

A typical day of work for me is cleaning a few of the houses buy whipping down the bathrooms getting all trash and vacuuming/mopping. Then doing the same thing with my co-workers to the main building. It was also my job to make sure each upcoming event was set in our event rooms with the right diagram they needed. I would set rooms with the right number of chairs tables and technology daily, then clean the event space as well.

I worked two summers at Portillos during college, I learned a lot working here. I was trained to work in “Zone 2” my responsibilities were to make drinks work the fry station and expo in the drive through. I would always ask to learn a new position if there was an opportunity for me to, but I was only there for the summer, so I did not get to learn as much as I wanted to. My managers knew me to be a hard working employee, they never needed to tell me something I already knew I needed to be doing.The environment at Portillos was great and they did not want to see me go but I had to go back to school. I got my brother and his friends a job there and they still work there.

Running the cash register both inside and in the garden center, building grills and lawn equipment that would be sold to customers, work in the drive-through loading cars with mulch and soil and operating a forklift were my tasks at Ace Hardware.
