Andrew Heiting-Doane’s practice areas include personal injury, civil rights, and employment law.Mr. Heiting-Doane has been named one of the top 40 attorneys under the age of 40 in the state of Iowa by The National Trial Lawyers. In 2004, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude and with Honors. Mr. Heiting-Doane graduated from Drake University Law School. During law school, he gained courtroom experience while serving as a student attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic, and he gained valuable mentoring and practical experience as a two-year member of LaMarca Law Group, P.C.’s highly-regarded law student clerkship program. In 2007, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Drake University Law School with High Honors. He earned the distinctive grade of “Top A” in four law school courses.Mr. Heiting-Doane is licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.Mr. Heiting-Doane volunteers as a pro bono attorney with Justice For Our Neighbors, the American Civil Liberties Union, and other organizations assisting immigrants and refugees. Mr. Heiting-Doane is a member of the Iowa Association for Justice. He was selected by the Iowa State Bar Association to serve on its Ethics & Practice Guidelines Committee.Mr. Heiting-Doane’s favorite pastime is spending time with his family. He is a fan of NFL football and the Seattle Seahawks. During college, Mr. Heiting-Doane worked as a salesman and mechanic in his father’s bicycle shop. In his free time, Mr. Heiting-Doane enjoys reading and sport climbing.
