Currently the sole economics expert for the ONS Balance of Payments team, specialising in research, delivery, and statistical development. Lead economic consultant for the currency composition of the UK's International Investment Position (IIP), providing expertise on Key Economic Indicators. Experienced in both macro and microeconomics, particularly environmental and behavioural economics.I am the lead economics consultant providing extensive research into IIP currency composition to pioneer a new statistical model for British economics, bringing us in line with global standards. I analysed multiple data streams to identify patterns across international governmental statistical reports to create a bespoke British data standard for future use. Throughout the project, I utilised my own expertise in IT systems and software to independently manage an extensive workload, all while maintaining high professional standards of effective communication with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on project development.Recently, I reached out to a senior professional to collaborate on a voluntary project to fill a systemic gap in British economic statistics, going above and beyond my job role to ensure the strengthening of UK government data. This project requires the combination of statistical phenomena previously thought to be isolated, with an aim to broaden our understanding of their economic relationship.
