About Andrew Hopper
I offer a track record in delivering results in an environment that is often complex and highly competitive while maximising stakeholder outcomes in the tourism, sport and entertainment sectors. By reinvigorating and re-setting strategic approaches, while uniting stakeholders across sectors, I have shown the importance of applying both new ways of working and thinking to increase the impact of publicly funded organisations and overcoming commercial and operational barriers to delivery in the private sector. I derive energy from high stakes environments. Building upon a background in major events, I am acutely aware of the thin line that runs between success and failure. Through visible leadership, skills in business development, precision planning and robust governance, I have been able to deliver strategic initiatives meeting multiple stakeholder outcomes across the tourism, sport and entertainment space. As a leader, I believe that everyone makes a valuable contribution. For both my teams and my interactions with stakeholders, I invest in facilitating the types of conversations that drive consensus, unite capabilities and bring out the very best of people and their potential to deliver. Should you wish to get in contact, please do so through LinkedIn or send me an email.
