About Andrew Horobin
Experienced data engineer with more than 11 years experience in designing, developing and supporting technical solutions for international companies.I am currently employed at Dyson as a Data Engineer, specialising in customer and asset master data. I'm currently working on a project to move and refactor on premise sql data warehouses in google cloud platform. The project involves rebuilding kimble data warehouses which contain reliability data in a star schema using GCP to serve up the data in the On Big Table format. Previously I worked on development of these data warehouses on SQL server and mass data migration in to SAP CRM from legacy systems to enable contact centre employees to use SAP CRM as their front end system when interacting with customers. The project was phased through GB and IE, US and CA, Australia and finally Japan.Prior to that I was Senior Technical Consultant at Tungsten Corporation (formerly OB10 Ltd). As well as managing a portfolio of customers I was responsible for escalation handling and process improvement withing the technical services team.I have integrated the systems of many global companies (including BBC, Unilever, Nomura and Mondelez) to enable them to receive electronic invoices and send electronic purchase order and invoice status information across the Tungsten Network (formerly OB10 Ltd).
