• Project Leader. Lead desk officer for planning and execution of current operations in West Africa. Managing work streams to enable the efficient deployment, sustainment, command and recovery of military personnel.

• Academic and military study. 9 months developing skills in communication, management, command, operational planning, defence strategy, international relations and procurement.

• Principal staff officer working for Regimental Commanding Officer.• Coordination and prioritisation of activity for a regiment on and off operations.• Human resources manager for 500 soldiers and officers including advising on legal matters, recruitment, discipline and manning structures.• Career management lead for 40 officers.• 7 months deployed (Sep 13 - May 14) with increased responsibility for over 1500 soldiers/officers within the 9th/12th Lancers Battlegroup and Brigade Troops Echelon. Lead for Commanding Officer’s deployed Tac Group on Battle Group Operations.

• Team Leader. Planned and coordinated activity for 100 soldiers and officers.

• Training, advisory and day-to-day tactical delivery support to an Afghan Infantry Company (120 personnel) in a high threat and dynamic operational environment.• UK-Afghan liaison to partnered 42 Commando Royal Marines Company.
