I worked as a purchasing and receiving agent for this special purpose machinery manufacturer based in Swansea, Wales. United Kingdom. We would produce full production lines or supplemental equipment which catered to the bonded panel industry. Our work was mainly custom to order so the vast majority of jobs were started when a customer decided that one of our machines was right for them, I would then begin the process of ordering the components and steel-work so production could begin.My duties included sourcing and buying materials at the best cost to our company as well as ensuring efficient delivery of these goods.
