I have become the go-to in my industry for specialists and industry professionals with regard to whole house or development heating solutions. I understand heating solutions in relation to constructions.I am a whole home solution-creator and problem-solving expert. I deal with various home specification heating solutions that include the use of top-end heat-pump solutions imported from our industry-leading German and Austrian neighbours. Invariably, I deal with Clients who have construction-specification challenges in their newly built or refurbished home. While this is not our mandate, my background in developing and construction enables me to identify the causes. I often mitigate building problems via our system solutions. In-house, I guide my team and have systemised our product specification methods. I developed bespoke software for the Sales team to largely automate the process of product selection, providing design and pricing proposals, by integrating data lookup tables to tie the most suitably performing products to algorithmic heating load estimations, generating complete pricing outputs. This “Q-Calc” software has significantly enhanced the Sales team’s productivity, vastly adding value and persuasive influence upon the recipient, and has practically eliminated the risk of human error. Similarly, I have developed a bespoke ‘Heat Loss & Heating Appraisal’ utility to analyse the thermal performance of our clients’ homes on a room-by-room basis where heat pump ventilation systems are proposed. Data is drawn from numerous sources and VBA coding has been employed to generate 3 tier polynomial performance curves from 3rd party test data and then extrapolates from these to establish space heating capacities for the calculated ventilation rates and postcode-assigned outdoor design air temperatures.
