Because of my passion for history and education, I have volunteered with the National Trust for Scotland since 2007. I have led guided tours in a number of locations including the David Livingstone Centre, in Blantyre, the Hill of Tarvit, near Cupar, and Kellie Castle, near Pittenweem. As an NTS guide, I present information creatively and enthusiastically to the young and old. I am jointly responsible (with other volunteers) for the restoration and archiving of the collections held. I have been successfully involved in the production of a popular youth project at the Hill of Tarvit, and I am also in the process of independently developing a First World War exhibition.
