I’m a dedicated zoologist with a deep passion for animal care and conservation. With a solid foundation in handling a variety of animals and managing their daily needs, I thrive in dynamic settings where adaptability and a keen understanding of animal behavior are essential. Currently, I work as an Ectotherms Zoologist at the Dallas Zoo, where I ensure the health and well-being of diverse species through attentive care and rigorous management. This role allows me to blend my love for wildlife with my expertise in project management and problem-solving.Before the Dallas Zoo, I worked as a Shift Lead at Salad & Go, where I managed daily tasks, trained team members, and kept track of inventory. I helped the team succeed by creating a positive work environment and maintaining high standards. I also worked as a Substitute Teacher with Denton ISD, where I developed versatile teaching skills and adapted to different student needs. This experience improved my communication skills and strengthened my commitment to education and community service.I have a B.A.A.S. in Biology from the University of North Texas, with concentrations in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Sociology. I wrote a research paper about the ecological role of springtails in deciduous rainforests, showing my strong analytical and writing skills.Outside of work, I’m passionate about soccer. I played for Pierce College Men's Soccer and in various leagues such as UPSL Premier, NPSL, MPL and more. This experience taught me teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.I’m excited to connect with others who share my passion for wildlife conservation, education, and excellence in operations.
