The Falls Music & Arts Festival is a multi-day music, arts and camping festival held annually in Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle over the New Year's Eve period. The festival hosts contemporary music performances, dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other art forms. As Finance Manager I was responsible for the on-ground responsibility and management of the festival’s finance requirements including: • Festival budgeting• Managing the event treasury • Reconciliation of cash and drink tokens• Coordinating on-site eftpos and cash facilities and cash collection service• Managing on-site finance and token booth staff• Managing all event cash points – incl bars, catering, general store, gate ticket sales

The Secret Sounds Group (SSG) is a large and complex group of privately owned companies with financial interests including the internationally renowned Splendour In The Grass Music & Arts Festival, The Falls Music & Arts Festival, an international tour promoter business (Secret Sounds Touring), a domestic artist booking agency (Village Sounds Agency) and a commercial sponsorship rights agency (Secret Sounds Connect).The Secret Sounds Group has an annual turnover exceeding $50m, employs 60+ permanent staff and several hundred casual staff and contractors are engaged for each of its festival and concert events. As Group Financial Controller I was directly responsible for the control of all financial planning, budgeting, analysis, reporting and compliance.
