I was part of a team of five IT Specialists supporting eleven geographic locations. We took on multiple roles as part of an enterprise infrastructure operations team. Key takeaways include; Implemented the NIST 800-171 / CMM and US DoD 5220.22-M standards on IT infrastructure to ensure compliance and passing cybersecurity audits. Automated software deployment and endpoint configuration using MS endpoint configuration manager / Intune. Using MS Sentinel SIEM toolkit in order to improve the enterprise security posture. Creating and maintaining process and procedure documentation, and providing feedback on encountered problems to enhance user documentation and training programs. Handled Escalations related to SCCM package deployment, security breaches and network outages. Monitored ticket systems and ensured service levels agreements were met; pursued customer requests and exceeded satisfactory standards.  Dispatched day-to-day monitoring and incident management for IT department to ensure availability and performance of critical applications, systems, and networks. Identified, evaluated, prioritized customer problems, and fielded complaints to ensure inquiries resolved appropriately.  Maintaining effective security, backup, and disaster recovery processes and systems, including performing data backups and recovery operations and IT asset management as required. Understand client business needs and effectively match those needs to technology solutions to obtain desired outcomes.

Served as overall support services for faculty members, staff and students. Installed and maintained services for media presentation systems, and networked workstations. Key takeaways include; Assisted technology department with desktop support; deployed and maintained desktop image inventory & databases for all designated computer labs and printers following ITIL best practices. Helped with access management; created & disabled user accounts, kept security standards and compliance. Delivered support to campus network infrastructure, fixed network connectivity issues applied security patches and updates, maintained detailed security reports & statuses, and compiled frequent security scans and assessments.  Support and troubleshoot educational audio-visual components such as Crestron DMPS, audio/video splitters, projectors, PA systems, and mixers. Monitored and addressed work orders for service in ServiceNow client ticket queue systems.  Perform classroom support under high stress circumstances such as resolving mid-lecture/event technical issues.

The project involved a client using a legacy PHP application that generated QR codes that needed to be scaled. We created a react app that could handle customer management as well as store and display QR code information while being integrated with the legacy PHP monolith. All systems were on AWS. Key takeaways; Created an identity and access management system with AWS Cognito integration. Created an integrated backend that used multiple AWS services and were successfully able to link PHP application Contributed to the Software Development Life Cycle and verified Operational requirements; involved with software release process to complete success. Used AWS Dynamo DB that was integrated with Lambda functions in order to create a full CRUD React app. Upgraded legacy PHP code to handle multiple requests. Created Bash scripts within the EC2 PHP server running the PHP application to scale the application accordingly.
