About Andrew Jackson

After recovering from a C4 incomplete spinal injury in 2009 I returned to work in 2010 and continued working until 2013. As a consequence I have experience of living with and overcoming, to some extent, tetraplegia.As a result of the InstructAbility programme run by Aspire I qualified as a level 2 Gym Instructor and then went on to qualify as a Personal Trainer with assistance of InstructAbility and Nuffield Health.I now volunteer at Stoke Mandeville Hospital as a fitness instructor assisting with rehabilitation. In addition I provide Personal Training in my own gym for those who require it - the training is free but donations to Aspire are welcome.
