I enjoy solving problems. My experience spans government, industry and academia, focusing on environmental monitoring, research and impact detection. I am currently an Ecologist (Data Scientist) working on environmental data collected to detect potential impacts from Uranium Mining in Kakadu National Park, with a concentrated effort on delivering stakeholder assurance and innovating monitoring practices using machine learning and emerging technologies. Previously, i was a Freshwater Ecologist at Sydney Water and Research Officer for the Aquatic Ecotoxicology Laboratory at Australian Catholic University, where i performed monitoring and research activities in the Sydney Basin aimed at determining the impacts of point and diffuse sources of pollution to aquatic ecosystems. Competencies: Fish, macroinvertebrate and aquatic vegetation species identification, using GIS for analysis of multi-spectral imagery collected using drones, water chemistry analysis, fieldwork, development of machine learning workflows for image/videography analysis.
